Is Atonement (Ian McEwan) or Snow flower and the secret fan (Lisa See) better to do a book report on?

I want to know particularly about Atonement. Is it a good book?

Is Atonement (Ian McEwan) or Snow flower and the secret fan (Lisa See) better to do a book report on?
I am not familiar with that Mc Ewan book but I have read his others. I like his work but he can be a difficult and dry read at times. Pax - C
Reply:I'd say snowflower.... i haven't read the other.. but Lisa See's book deals with actual subjects from history that you can use to your advantage.





You can compare her fictional characters to actual historical events to see what she changed for fiction, you can see what she kept the same et.





is it the type of book report where you take aspects of the book and write an essay..... then this is a good choice.





if it's the type of book report where you write what happened in the book in your own words, then any book will be a good choice.
