Which book should I read?

I will be a freshman in high school next year. I have to read one book for summer reading. I can choose between:

ALWAYS RUNNING by Luis Rodriguez

THE CURIOUS INCIDENT OF THE DOG IN THE NIGHT TIME by Mark Haddon

FUNNY IN FARSI by Firoozeh Dumas

THE GLASS CASTLE by Jeanette Walls

SNOW FLOWER AND THE SECRET FAN by Lisa See

THE THIRTEENTH TALE by Diane Setterfield

WAY OF THE PEACEFUL WARRIOR by Dan Millman

which one should I read and why?

which ones should I not read and why?

thank you!

Which book should I read?
The Glass Castle - I had to read this for college. Awesome book and I got mine signed by the author. About a family who is basically homeless and how the children grow up to become successful adults.

The Curious Incident of the Dog in The Night Time told through the POV of an autistic child. Quick read.

The Thirteenth Tale - This one has always caught my eye at the bookstore and I would like to read it someday.

The rest of them I've never heard of.
Reply:I haven't read any of them. My recommendation is start each, and if it hasn't hooked you by the end of the 10th page, move on to the next.

Good literature is worth reading, and something that at first might not strike you as "your thing" might, after 10 pages, have something that reaches out to you.

I might start with "Funny in Farsi," simply because of its cross-cultural elements for me.
Reply:I have read most of the Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night Time and didn't really like it, but you might.

I would get more than one of them and try them out to see what you think.
Reply:I suggest you research all of them i dont know what types of books you like however i suggest you read the first two chapters of each then if any have "hooked" you on to the storie or you enjoy read that one

Hope i helped

Reply:I love Meg Cabot and Sophie Kinsella's books. I am in the process of reading Emily Giffin's books. They are all great authors!
