I want to give this poem to a girl on our first date, what do you think?

I had given up on life and turned into a stone, the desert wind suited me with no heart, no mind, just bone, why to want to be loved again; only to be turned into pain. I laughed at people still in love, who trusted someone's word; to make my happiness depend, on love seemed to be absurd.


And then I someone for the first time, she came and shone upon my meadow full of snow, and saw the flowers only love could recognize and grow. Her smile made me feel so beautiful, I shed my cold, cold skin, and my heart started to live again. Her laughter was like a pebble that disturbed the stillness of calm waters of my mind. Her smile enchants me, it brings light into my life, it makes me happy, turns me up side down, gives me the strength, makes me forget my weakness.


Her eyes won't let my thoughts go back to sleep. Her sweet voice draws me towards her. Her thoughts are like tape; I look for you in every doorway, at every corner I find only the darkness in my heart.do u know what u mean to me

I want to give this poem to a girl on our first date, what do you think?
It's a beautiful poem. I'm sure she'll love it.


However, isn't it only your first date with her? I think that you should give it to her later on in your relationship. You don't want to overwhelm her with all your feelings for her, just yet. Since it's only your first date with her, she still might not know how strongly she feels about you yet. But, if you guys were really close and friends before you asked her out, then that's a whole different story.


If you really want to give it to her, then give it to her the day after the date.

I believe you must cultivate a relationship first before you offer these lovely words. If this poem was written with this girl in mind, you obviously have deep feelings for her even though you haven't been on one date.





If you want to develop a relationship, give it time before you give her this poem.

If I had know a guy a long time and understood his feelings and life.....It may be the most beautiful touching thing I ever received. But for a first date...NO WAY...Unless you want her not to return from the bathroom.
