Cold snap, what to do about my garden?

I just planted a bunch of pretty geraniums. my tulips are already struggling to bloom because of unseasonably cooler weather. now I just found out that it might snow in my area on friday. Can I do anything to save my flowers? I live in western washington

It's too early for geraniums, but the stores are selling them. When I see these plants outside stores at this time of year I feel so sad because they are all going to die.

Your tulips should be fine. They are pretty tough. But the geraniums should probably be covered with burlap or, if there are only a few of them, put a bucket over each one with a rock on top of it to hold it down.
Reply:Go to Home Depot and buy some plant cover. Or use sheets, but don't let them touch the plants. And definitely, don't let plastic touch them! You should be fine!
Reply:put some stakes in the flower bed and cover with light plastic
