Mature honest answers only please how would u feel/do if your fiance did this to u on valentines day?

I got him a nice card/gift.He said he "tryed" to get me flowers but the florist would not deliver because we had a bad snow storm(true but nothing like waiting till the last min) and no gift or card. Then we went to diner(my doing) . when the bill came he made no effort to take it so i said do u want me to put it on our "family c.c"(we have a joint one for house bills that we both put the same money in) and he said sure.So basicly we went "dutch".I will say he did get me a clock about 4 weeks later after his mom asked me what he got me and i told her nothing.

It doesn't sound great. My ex-boyfriend once told me that he wanted to get me chocolate from this nice place that they make their chocolates fresh and it's great but he didn't because of the lineup!! He said: I told myself, nah, I'm not gonna line up! So he got me a box of regular chocolate from grocery store!!!!!!!

Pretty lame!

Of course he is your fiance, so I can't be a good judge as you guys are probably closer than my ex and I were.

Good luck.

Reply:It is almost June. You really have to get over what happened on Feb. 14th. Many people did not get their flowers because of that snow storm. You have to think about how he treats you everyday, not just on a card company holiday.
Reply:What kinda gift is a clock His behavior was a insensitive he could have brought the floweres and a card Some people do not believe in Valentine s day because they do special things for each other all the time Most time when this happens the couple has preagreed at it If you watch Judge Judy she always tells ladies do not share money with some one who is not your husband (As the old saying goes why buy the cow if you get the milk for free)
Reply:You know something, Diane. There are a lot more important things than money and gifts. You should be asking yourself if he has those qualities you want in a husband. Not how much he spends on you. He may have things you like as much or better than doting on you in these particular ways. Your choice, of course, but make sure you have your priorities straight.
