Opinions on a Poem?

Tell Me What it’s Like Princess

Tell me what it means my friend

To be daughter of a King

Tell me what it’s like my friend

To have a bloodline of Royalty

Do you eat on golden plates my friend

Do you drink from crystal too

Do you have someone that is assigned

Their job is to serve you

Do you dress all up in fancy Gowns

Do you wear a crown of Jewels

Does someone brush your hair for you

Flower petals dance across your Pool

Is your bed dressed up in Satin

Is your pillow dressed in Silk

Is your table set for Tea Time

Even when you just sit down for a glass of milk

Do your servants

Say yes, your highness

Or no your majesty

Do you dine with Politicians

Sit down with Celebrities for Tea

Do you stare out of your window

Overlooking a garden of Elegant Beauty

Do sit out by the Ocean

Whilst someone fans you with Giant Leaves

Are you smarter than the average girl

Do you attend the finest schools

Do you have a soft angelic voice

Did your Prince claim you through a Duel

Is your hair as soft as silk, my friend

Is your skin perfect, without flaw

Do you dance among the trees Princess

Do others stand and look at you in awe

“Why, No You’ve got it wrong my friend

Exclaimed the Princess of Royalty

You seem to have it all mixed up

It’s my Lord the Prince of Peace

You see I am just like you my friend

When I awake my hairs a mess

I eat from cheapo plastic

My Mom made me this dress

My room is nothing fancy

I own nothing made of silk

And I sometimes stand at the counter

Dipping Oreos in Milk

I do not have a pool my friend

Never been fanned with Giant leaves

I do not have an Elegant Garden

But yes I dance among the trees

I dance because, He loves Me

I dance because he died for me

I dance for He gave his very life

Did this to set me Free

He’s forgiven me of all my sins

He has washed me pure as snow

He’s preparing now a mansion for me

In Heaven where I’ll call home

He’s taken away deep scars and pain

He cleaned out anger from my past

His filled my heart with hope and love

A love that will forever last

You see I’m not just daughter of some ol’ random King

I do not have a servant but yes I’m royalty

I’m Daughter of the most high God

Some call Him King of Kings

I’m daughter of the most High God

I call him now Daddy

And this you may find shocking

But you, are royalty

His blood was shed there on that cross

He died to set you free

So close your eyes, imagine

A mansion on a hill

Now feel His arms around you

Your heart He longs to Heal

He longs to set you free my friend

To call your Princess and Daughter

He longs to fill your heart with love

To make you a spotless Dove

His love is everlasting

His arms stronger than the world

You were put here to be His Princess

Not some ol’ random Girl

So arm yourself with truth my friend

Grab His Sword the Word and Fight

Give Your heart to Him my Friends

Become Royalty Tonight
